    Default Gasoline additives

Hello. I am about to get my car out of the garage for the safety, and want to fill it up at the gas station with gasoline. I'm wondering since it's an old motor and it would have needed lead in the gas what additive should I be adding and what grade of fuel should I be getting? Any help in this would be appreciated.

If you feel the need, go ahead, but modern fuels work fine with old engines. Some people swear by them, but they just add to air pollution, unnecessarily. The best thing you can do is winterize your car by simply filling the tank so there's little air to draw moisture from. Full tanks, for some scientific reason, evaporate far less fuel than a half tank of gas.

I've used mine 18,000 miles in 22 years and have never added anything to premium fuel.
