It’s funny they mention 3917 in this article because it’s engine is in your convertible Barry. 3917 hasn’t been seen or heard about in the last 15 or so years. Sounded like a nicely optioned, sweet car in its day.

Thanks Barry. Just in case anyone wants all the seminar pages in a PDF file, I have done so and was going to post the PDF file but I can't seem to find an option to post the file. I have posted individual photos but I haven't posted a PDf file. Perhaps, someone knows how to do it on this forum.
If not, if anyone wants a copy, send me an e-mail (lldurocherhome@gmail.com) and I will email the file.

I don’t think you can directly post a PDF.

That's probably true. I am not sure why we can't. A lot of PDF files are smaller than individual photos and certainly smaller than videos and there is an option for videos.

The thermostat topic is interesting. Has anyone dealt with that directly? I haven't had to open mine up so I dont know what is in there or if the bypass is blocked. I looked at the types Jack Rosen sells which appear to be the modern type. There is a photo of an NOS thermostat on his site as well and there is a difference. Am I correct in presuming that according to the seminar, everyone purchasing a thermostat from Mark II Enterprises might have to block the bypass or are they configured to allow the bypass to function as original?

I don't know about the ones from Mark II Enterprises but I searched and found (a couple of years ago) one of the thermostat types mentioned in the seminar notes, checked the operation (opening and closing off the bypass), and installed it in my Mark II at the same time the radiator was redone. Unfortunately, my notes don't indicate which one I purchased.
