I don't think I've ever seen an aluminum oil pump as the vanes need to ride on a harder surface than aluminum.

I just got to my spare, while heavy I think the body is a lighter weight metal with steel innards and end plate. It very well might be aluminum, but might be a zinc casting, like the fuel pump.
