People need to stop repeating the myth that Gordon Buehrig was in on the design of the Mark II. He was not, in any way, associated with the design team. The design was etched in stone before her was hired. He was brought on to supervise the Engineering team. He was hired to make the design buildable as Body Engineer.

He also supervised the making of all the resin models, including the fully-functioning Retractable model.
