Yesterday I had to take my Mark II down to a friends shop to have some work done. It's an 80 mile round trip on one of our expressways.
If you are not doing 80MPH you will get run over so I was doing that in order to move with the traffic flow.
My Mark II has 49,000 miles on it and has spent part of it's life sitting in a Museum but it ran beautifully the entire trip so this old lady is still capabile of running with the big dogs.
Temp gauge was right where it shold be and the RPM's were a little under 3,000 at 80MPH.
I don't think my engine has ever been rebuilt either but it continues to run like it should.
I just had to tell someone. Ha. What a beautiful drive it was!
