Hello Jim!
Let me say that the Lincoln Continental MARK II is available for $26,900.
One of the cleanest Lincoln Continental MARK II for sale anywhere. 1956 with only 28800 miles. A Lincoln Continental MARK II with Factory brand stereo, AC, Clock, Power Driver Seat, Power Steering, Power Windows, Tachometer plus many many more features. One of the best all around driving cars you can buy. A Totally Rust, Corrosion And Flood Free Vehicle.Never been in any accidents.Clear title.
Where are you located?
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate ask.
Don't let this beauty go away!!!
Pictures look nice and price is certainly attractive. However, a detailed on-site inspection is definitely needed. Lots of wear on the heal pad for a car with less than 30,000 miles, particularly if this car went through a restoration.

Boy, that just seems to good to be true. The car seems to be underpriced from its appearance in the pictures. Even if the interior was redone in vinyl, and it was redone, the price seems low. Issues to look for, frame repair, sloppy trans, and a smooth idle. I NEVER had one with a bad motor that needed a rebuild, but they all seem to need a set of lifters, and a good carb rebuild. [Benchwick Carb in Youngstown Ohio, he is the BEST]

It reminds me of C56E2946 which had significant frame rust damage.

I received this response today. Anyone know anything....Thanks.
Hello Jim,
Would you like to see more pictures? The car was fully restored 5 years ago, frame off restoration. Everything is working properly. Is free to rust, pets, smoke and accidents. The paint is flawless no dents or cracks and the chrome is like new. Was kept only inside. Mechanical no problems. Underneath very clean no rust or leaks. On the interior everything is working properly and is very clean. Here is the VIN: C56D2699
The reason why I'm selling it is a divorced settlement. I must share everything with my ex. I am very mad on this situation but I don't have any options. Priced for a quick sale. Because my time is very important and and I'm dedicated to my career a third party company is the best choice for us. They will protect both of us in this transaction. I know it's been advertised in a few areas but the car is in Spokane, WA ready to go. I arranged for the sale before I left the country so my presence won't be necessary. They are supervising the entire sale process from payment, shipping with a inspection period (7 days), title(clear) transfer service or/and (if needed) returns and refunding. As for the payment we can start a transaction through the shipping company where I'm already registered. You will have to register too on their website, then you have to contact me to start the transaction. If you are serious about buying the car, I will ship it anywhere with no extra cost(I will use a coupon for that).
If you want to move forward please contact me back so we can get the ball rolling. Don't let this beauty go away !!
Thank you,

This seems way too good to be true. The description indicates frame off restoration (five years ago), <30000 miles, with flawless paint, chrome, everything working, rust free, showroom condition and no leaks. In addition, he will ship it anywhere at no extra cost. A Mark II in that condition would be worth a minimum of 2-3 times the stated price and might even be worth 4 times the asking price.
Perhaps the hint is, it has been advertised in a few areas. Usually means, someone has stolen the photos and is trying to collect the money for a car they don't own and don't have in their possession.
Of course, if you know someone in the Spokane area, you could ask for a personal inspection and to receive a copy of the current title and registration and the previous bill of sale.

Just for grins, I Googled the name. Only one doctor came up located in Lubbock, Texas and he is an anesthesiologist, no mention of EM. As with most things, if it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is.

I agree. Way too good to be true. Our last record of 2699
Was 2012 in Iowa with 96,000 miles. Dark blue with 1A1A interior. Highly unlikely the AD car is the same car. I personally wouldn't consider this unless I personally inspected the car and the title. Good luck. John

Hello Jim,
Latest and Final Update: What BS!!!!!!
They don't accept inspection at their location. This why provide 7 days for inspection at your location. I think is plenty of time to check the condition of the unit. They don't do inspections at their facility because there were situations in the past when the units were damaged during the inspection and they had to pay for repair. This why they provide that inspection period at your location. The unit right now is crated because I wanted the next owner to receive it as I leave it(pristine condition). Don't get me wrong but I know the condition of the unit and I'm sure that you will love it from the first sign. They already made a pre purchase inspection on the car. If you want I can ask for a copy of that report.
Let me know.
Thank you,
I TOLD HIM THANKS BUT I'D PASS ON THIS. That was polite.

BEWARE! I've seen the identical language and terms on other items. For instance $14,000.00 for an excavator that is worth $75,000.00. Same inspection period, same reason for not being allowed to inspect on site, etc, etc...... It's called the "Nigerian Scam"
