In the Continental Mark II service manual it states that the minimum PSI has to be 975 for the power steering pump to operate the steering gear box but it does not show what the maximum can be.
My reason for asking is that I do not have a stock engine and running a modern power steering pump with a stock Mark II steering gear box. We have a pressure reducing valve but have a leak and not sure if the pressure is to high. Pressure to gear box is around 1500PSI
