Does anyone have a source for the fuel filler hose? Mark II Enterprises is out of stock, and not sure when they'll get more. Mine is leaking when the tank is more than 1/2 full. Lots of fumes I have not pulled the tank yet. What size is the hose and can a straight hose be used or does it need to be a molded with the bend?

I’d be looking at the vent lines.

There are 3 vent hose pieces that always leak. Mark II enterprises supposedly has those but I can tell you the filler pipe is no longer being made. I actually got a very trick fuel filler pipe from Barry that’s made out of metal and fastened at each end with a piece of 2-1/4 connecting hose. I know some people have used two pieces of 90* 2-1/4 filler pipe and a piece of exhaust tubing to make the filler pipe with some success.

Thank you. Sounds like I'll be making my own fuel filler hose and change the vent lines.

327413274232743, Joe when I first got my car the fuel vent lines where set up wrong & in fact fuel was being siphoned into the inner rear fender panel, last photo & had bad fuel fumes, when I pulled the rubber bung fuel flowed out, this happened when fuel tank was nearly full. All good once I put in correct fuel vent line as per photo 1 & 2

For those not aware of this, there is a drain plug on the bottom passenger side towards the front and it has a square hole in it where you can stick an extension into it and turn it out. There is a rubber gasket which will likely fall apart so be prepared to match something up. I have assortments of orings of many shapes and sizes and found something that fit that works just fine. The plug is large and the fuel flies out fast so get a CLEAN drain pan or bucket and in my case I used an ice cream pail with a Jerry can and drained it in smaller amounts and poured into the Jerry can. Smaller amounts are perhaps easier to haul from under the car and grab a large rubber glove if you don't want gas on your hand or arm. If your fast you can pop the plug back in to stop it as well.
Before you remove the plug, take a wire brush and clean any dirt off as well and you might have to pick any dirt out of the square hole your ratchet extension is stuck into to remove it.
