1956 Mark II engine

I recently purchased a '32 ford with a 1956 Mark II engine in it. Was wondering if there is a way to get some history on this engine. Per previous owner, the engine came out of a Mark II delivered to Miami, Florida. Stamped #1433 26533

We only have a range of original vehicles which your engine could have originated. 1433 plus 982 equals 2415 on the low side and 1433 plus 989 equals 2422 on the high side. There isn't any way to know for certain; just probabilities based on the documented histories of 2415 through 2422. Since 2417 is a documented parts car, it most probably came from 2417. Conversely, 2422s last known location was Florida in the 1980s. Hope this educated guess helps.
