I was looking over our Parts Wanted and For Sale Forum and in particular the MARK II PARTS & SERVICES thread. It is really outdated and I'm hoping to bring it up to date. I've made a couple changes, but there's a lot more to do. Many of our old-time sources are not around any more, so we need (hopefully) to find new ones.

I thought maybe we could start out with these items. I have noted a few where the old source is not available and a couple where that resource still exist. Please make your recommendations in this thread not in the Parts Wanted and For Sale Forum. Please don't restrict your recommendations to USA vendors. Also, feel free to add services for other parts.

I will update this as the contributions come in below:

Came back looking like new and has worked perfectly ever since (3 years).

Fuel pump - If rebuilding yourself (not too difficult) then I recommend a rebuild kit from Jack R. at MkII Enterprises. The parts (especially fuel and air valves + diaphragms) are far superior to other slightly cheaper kits.

Ed Strain is no longer in business. Ed's Business was purchased and is now operated by White Post Restorations. I checked with them and the cost of a rebuild is $440 + shipping.

Arizona vintage parts rebuilds fuel pumps, water pumps and occasionally treadle vacs. He used to do nothing but 50s Cadillac parts but now sells parts for pretty much everything. 623-931-3753 or check out his EBay page.

Don Henschel has developed a list of contractors that sells to the usual suspects. I've asked him to comment, but he won't. He gave me that list but I don't need anyone else to be pissed at me.

Any source reccomended for batteries? And the correct best current substitute?

Thanks,
Victor Milke

I'm surprised that Klaus Wojak is still in business. Years ago, he told me that he wanted to quit. He must be way above 80 years old now...

Victor, I just saw this in another thread - https://www.batterycentralmall.com/Batteries/TurboStart/Script/S32NPP.html.

At the risk of (temporarily) splintering this thread, Victor, your profile shows that you still own #3520. My histories show that you own or owned #3607. Do you still have that car?

I tried to use Klaus last year and his health has deteriorated. He sent my antenna back untouched.
